Lara lived on the French Riviera for 3 weeks and perfected her language skills with EF Nice.
1. How did you experience your trip?
My language stay with EF was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had in my life. Nice is a beautiful city and I felt very comfortable. I was able to make many new friends and would definitely travel with EF again.
2. Where did you live during your stay and how did you experience it?
I lived with my roommate in a host family a little away from the center. This was a new experience for me and I really enjoyed being able to immerse myself in a foreign culture.
3. What is your favorite memory of your stay?
My favorite memory of the language stay is the picnic I had with my friends in Cap d'Ail. We had so much fun and went out for dinner that evening.
4. What are your favorite places in and around Nice?
I go there regularly for brunch or breakfast Sweet Coffee gone. The cute cafe is just two minutes from the promenade and the staff is very friendly. I also have a lot of time with friends La Bulle – an underground bar in the old town with over 500 different games. I often went swimming in the turquoise water of Coco Beach or at the street market. The Museum of Fine Arts is a must for all art lovers and entry is free for students.
5. What did you take away from your language stay?
My time abroad has made me much more open-minded and I can think back to many wonderful memories. My language skills have also improved a lot because I only spoke to my friends in French.
