The decision to spend an academic semester in Brisbane, Australia, was one of the best I have ever met. I originally came from Brazil and had not expected that all my ideas would be exceeded. My goal was to give me some space and time to rethink my future, but I received so much more from EF. This trip gave me unique and enriching moments – I couldn't have made a better choice.
The EF school in Brisbane has a fantastic structure and an outdoor area in the district, which is super close to the city. EF activities and even a few lessons took place there.
The city itself is surrounded by several parks in which we spent part of our free time. During my stay, I was able to visit three countries on the east coast of Australia. Together with friends, I visited the Opera House and Harbor Bridge in Sydney, seen the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains and Canberra – the capital of Australia – and Melbourne. On the way there I got to know other wonderful cities, such as the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Newcastle, Coffs Harbor, Phillip Island and others – in the typical Australian way: when camping.
I would repeat this experience immediately because it was personally enriching and cannot be put into words. Thanks to the support and dedication of EF for each individual student, I was able to experience all of this. They brought us in absolute English best form and did everything we can to make the experience incredible. Thanks, EF!
